What is Resupply USD?
Resupply USD (REUSD) is a decentralized stablecoin issued by Resupply, a protocol built around Curve Finance and Convex. It is minted through collateralized debt positions, in which users lock interest-earning stablecoin deposits from lending markets such as Curve Lend and Fraxlend and borrow reUSD against them.
Borrowers can profit when the yield on their collateral is higher than the borrowing rate, which the protocol sets based on the lending rates it observes. Protocol incentives are directed to an insurance pool, voting incentives and borrowers. In June 2025, Resupply suffered an exploit of one of its markets that led to a loss of about $9.6 million.
