What is Circulating supply?
The number of coins currently available to trade in the market, excluding tokens that are locked, reserved or burned.
Circulating supply is what market cap is calculated from. It excludes tokens held in vesting contracts, team and foundation reserves that cannot yet be sold, and coins that have been permanently destroyed.
Projects report their own figures and definitions differ, so circulating supply is often an estimate. A sudden jump usually means locked tokens were released; see token unlock.
