What is Meteora?

Meteora (MET) is the token of Meteora, one of the leading liquidity platforms on Solana. It offers dynamic liquidity market maker (DLMM) pools, where liquidity is placed in price bins and fees adjust with volatility, as well as dynamic vaults and AMM pools used heavily by meme coin and new token traders.

Meteora also runs launch tools for new tokens and grew out of the Mercurial Finance team, with close ties to the Jupiter community. MET launched in 2025 and is used for governance and to reward liquidity providers and users of the platform.
