What is GMX?

GMX is the token of GMX, a decentralized exchange for spot and perpetual futures trading. It runs on Arbitrum, Avalanche and Solana and lets traders open leveraged positions of up to 100x from their own wallets.

GMX uses liquidity pools, where providers act as the counterparty to traders and earn fees. GMX holders can stake to earn a share of protocol revenue and vote on governance. In 2025 GMX suffered a hack on its V1 platform, most of which was recovered.
