What is EthereumPoW?

EthereumPoW (ETHW) is the token of EthereumPoW, a fork of Ethereum that kept proof-of-work mining after Ethereum moved to proof of stake in the September 2022 Merge. The fork was promoted by miners and backers who wanted to continue mining.

At the time of the fork, every ETH holder received an equal amount of ETHW. The chain keeps Ethereum's account model and smart contract support, and ETHW is used to pay transaction fees and reward miners. Its ecosystem and usage are much smaller than Ethereum's.
