What is Constellation?

Constellation (DAG) is the native token of Constellation Network, a project that uses a directed acyclic graph structure, called the Hypergraph, rather than a single chain of blocks. The design lets nodes process data in parallel, so capacity can grow as more nodes join.

Constellation focuses on securing and validating large amounts of data, offering metagraphs: custom networks built on the Hypergraph that applications can tailor to their needs. DAG is used to run nodes, pay for network services and reward validators, and the project has pursued work with businesses and U.S. government agencies.
