What is Token unlock?
The scheduled release of tokens that were locked, usually those held by the team, early investors or a foundation.
Projects lock allocations so insiders cannot sell at launch, then release them in steps (see vesting). Each unlock adds tokens that can be sold, so large unlocks are watched closely. The price effect depends on who receives the tokens and whether they sell. Our token unlock calendar lists upcoming releases.
