What is Vesting?
A schedule that releases locked tokens gradually instead of all at once.
A typical schedule has a cliff (nothing released for, say, 12 months) and then monthly or daily releases over several years. Long vesting aligns insiders with the project's long-term success. The schedule is set in the token's documentation and often enforced by a smart contract.
