Pocket Network (POKT) is a decentralized network that provides access to blockchain data. Applications and wallets need RPC connections to read from and send transactions to blockchains, and Pocket lets independent node operators supply those connections instead of relying on a single centralized provider.
The network routes requests from applications to many nodes across dozens of blockchains. Node operators stake POKT and earn it as a reward for the requests they serve, and the token is also used to pay for access and in governance of the protocol.
