About GreenMetaverseToken
GMT (GMT) is the governance token of STEPN, a move-to-earn app built by Find Satoshi Lab, a studio with roots in Australia. STEPN launched on Solana in 2021-2022 and later added BNB Chain and Polygon. Users buy NFT sneakers and earn rewards by walking, jogging or running outdoors, with movement tracked by their phone's GPS.
STEPN uses two tokens. GST is the everyday reward token, while GMT has a fixed supply of 6 billion and is spent or burned in the app to mint higher-level sneakers, upgrade gems and unlock other features. GMT holders can also take part in governance votes. Sneakers can be traded or rented out on the in-app marketplace.
