About Amp
Amp (AMP) is a collateral token used to secure payments on the Flexa network. When a customer pays with crypto at a store, AMP holders' tokens back the payment so the merchant is paid instantly, even before the transaction is final on-chain.
AMP holders earn rewards for providing this collateral. In 2022 the SEC named AMP in an insider trading case as an alleged security, a claim its team disputes.
