About EDU Coin
Open Campus (EDU) is the token of Open Campus, a community-led project building blockchain tools for education. It lets teachers, learners and institutions issue verifiable credentials, access on-chain education finance and build learning apps on shared infrastructure, including EDU Chain, a network built specifically for education apps.
Contributors to the Open Campus DAO include Animoca Brands and the education companies TinyTap, NewCampus, RiseIn and HackQuest. EDU launched through Binance Launchpad in 2023 and is used for governance, network fees and incentives for educators and content creators.
