About 0x Protocol Token
0x Protocol (ZRX) is the token of 0x, one of the earliest decentralized exchange infrastructure projects on Ethereum, launched in 2017. Rather than running a single exchange, 0x provides tools that let wallets and apps offer token swaps by finding liquidity across many sources.
Its Swap API is used by many well-known wallets and apps, and the team also runs the Matcha trading app. ZRX is used for protocol governance.
