Re Protocol reUSDe (REUSDE) is a token from Re, a protocol that connects decentralized finance with the reinsurance market, where insurers buy coverage to share their own risks. Re lets on-chain capital be allocated to reinsurance contracts through smart contracts.
reUSDe is a yield-bearing token linked to Ethena's USDe stablecoin. Holders combine the yield from USDe with returns from the reinsurance capital the protocol deploys, while taking on the risk that insurance claims reduce those returns. It runs on Ethereum.
