StraitsX XUSD (XUSD) is a US dollar stablecoin issued by StraitsX, a Singapore-based payments company. Each XUSD is meant to be redeemable for one US dollar and is backed by reserves.
The Ethereum version was first deployed in February 2024, and the token is also available on Solana. StraitsX positions XUSD for fast, round-the-clock payments in Southeast Asia, and the Monetary Authority of Singapore has recognized it as designed to comply with Singapore's stablecoin framework. StraitsX also issues the Singapore dollar stablecoin XSGD.
