NEXO is the token of Nexo, a digital asset platform launched in 2018 that offers crypto-backed loans, interest-earning accounts, trading and a crypto card. Users can borrow cash or stablecoins using their crypto as collateral without having to sell it.
Holding NEXO in a Nexo account unlocks higher loyalty tiers, which give better interest rates on savings, lower borrowing rates and more cashback on the Nexo card. Nexo has also paid dividends to NEXO holders from its profits in the past, and has bought back tokens.
Nexo is a centralized company, so users trust it to hold their assets. It has faced regulatory action in the United States in the past and adjusted its services in some countries, so availability depends on where you live.
