About Fetch
Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) is the token of the ASI Alliance, a group of decentralized artificial intelligence projects that merged their tokens in 2024. The alliance was formed by Fetch.ai, SingularityNET and Ocean Protocol, with CUDOS joining later, and FET became the single shared token for the combined ecosystem.
Fetch.ai, the original issuer of FET, launched in 2019 and focuses on autonomous AI agents that can find, negotiate with and pay each other for services. SingularityNET runs a marketplace for AI services and research toward general intelligence, while Ocean Protocol focuses on sharing and monetizing data. Together they aim to offer an open alternative to AI development controlled by a few large tech companies.
FET is used to pay for services and computation across these platforms, to stake on the network and to take part in governance. The alliance has been reshaped since its formation, including Ocean Protocol's exit in 2025, so its structure should be checked against current announcements.
