About MetaMask USD
MetaMask USD (MUSD) is a US dollar stablecoin launched in 2025 by MetaMask, the popular crypto wallet developed by Consensys. It is issued through Bridge, a Stripe company, and built on the M0 stablecoin platform.
Each mUSD is meant to be backed one-to-one by dollar reserves. It is designed for use inside MetaMask products, including moving between crypto and cash and spending with the MetaMask Card, and is available on Ethereum, Linea and other networks.
