About Dusk Network
DUSK (DUSK) is the native token of Dusk, a public Layer 1 blockchain designed for regulated financial markets, with a focus on Europe. Its goal is to let real-world assets such as shares and bonds be issued, traded and settled on-chain while meeting EU rules like MiFID II, MiCA and the DLT Pilot Regime.
Dusk uses zero-knowledge cryptography so transactions and smart contracts can stay private while still proving compliance. It works with partners such as the Dutch regulated exchange NPEX and Quantoz, which issues the EURQ euro stablecoin. The network runs on proof of stake, and DUSK is used to pay fees and to stake for securing the chain.
