About Sophon
Sophon (SOPH) is the token of Sophon, a blockchain focused on entertainment, gaming and consumer apps. It is built with ZKsync's ZK Stack and settles to Ethereum, and its mainnet and token launched in 2024 and 2025 respectively.
Sophon uses a validium design, keeping transaction data off Ethereum to lower costs while using zero-knowledge proofs for security. Before launch the project sold node licences to the public to help run the network. SOPH is used for fees, node rewards and governance.
