About Gnosis Token
Gnosis (GNO) is the token of the Gnosis ecosystem, which began in 2015 as one of Ethereum's first prediction market projects. It has since grown into a broad set of products, including Gnosis Chain, an Ethereum-compatible blockchain, Gnosis Pay, a self-custody debit card, and the CoW Protocol trading platform, which was spun out of Gnosis.
GNO is staked to run validators that secure Gnosis Chain, where staking requires far less capital than on Ethereum, and it is used to govern GnosisDAO and its treasury. The well-known Safe multisig wallet also started as a Gnosis project before becoming independent.
