About Olympus
Olympus (OHM) is a DeFi protocol that issues OHM, a token backed by a treasury of assets held on-chain. Launched in 2021, it became famous for its very high staking yields and "(3,3)" meme, then went through a sharp crash before redesigning itself around stability.
Today Olympus describes itself as programmable monetary infrastructure. It owns most of its own trading liquidity, uses a range-bound stability system to buy and sell OHM around its backing value, and offers Cooler Loans, which let holders borrow against their OHM at a fixed rate without price-based liquidations.
