About XY Oracle
XYO Network (XYO) is a decentralized network that collects and verifies real-world data, especially location data, launched in 2018. It is one of the earliest projects in what is now called DePIN, with millions of nodes, many of them phones running the COIN app, which rewards users for sharing location data.
The project's own blockchain, XYO Layer One, is built to record large volumes of data along with proof of where and when it originated. This verified data is meant to feed AI tools, robotics, mapping and real-world asset systems through developer kits. The XYO token, an Ethereum-based ERC-20, is used for rewards, payments for data and participation in the network.
