DeGate (DG) is the token of DeGate, a decentralized exchange on Ethereum that uses an order book, similar to a traditional exchange, rather than an automated market maker.
DeGate runs as a zero-knowledge rollup: trades are processed off the main chain and then proven to Ethereum with cryptographic proofs, which lowers costs while users keep control of their funds. The DG token is used for governance and for fee-related benefits on the platform.
