About Convex Token
Convex Finance (CVX) is a protocol built on top of Curve Finance that helps users earn higher rewards without locking CRV themselves. Curve liquidity providers deposit their LP tokens into Convex, which uses its large pool of locked CRV to boost everyone's rewards.
Convex became the biggest holder of Curve voting power, putting it at the center of the "Curve Wars" over where CRV emissions go. CVX holders who lock their tokens control those votes and receive a share of protocol fees, and many projects pay them incentives to direct votes toward their pools.
