Atoshi (ATOS) is the token of Atoshi, a project that runs a group of mobile apps, including e-commerce, short video, games and lifestyle services, in which ATOS is used for rewards and payments. The project began with a user base mainly in mainland China and has expanded to other parts of Asia and beyond.
The team says it is building its own smart contract blockchain and has run a testnet for some time, while ATOS is currently traded as a token on Ethereum. User numbers and other figures come from the project itself and have not been independently verified.
