About Renzo
Renzo (REZ) is the token of Renzo, a DeFi project that first became known for liquid restaking on Ethereum through EigenLayer, issuing ezETH to users who deposited ETH. It has since shifted its focus to making professional yield strategies available directly in users' own accounts, without pooling or taking custody of funds.
Its newer product, Renzo Basis, runs a delta-neutral strategy on Hyperliquid that buys an asset on the spot market and shorts an equal amount in perpetual futures, earning the funding payments that leveraged buyers pay to short sellers. The REZ token is used for governance and incentives.
