About Numeraire
Numeraire (NMR) is the token of Numerai, a hedge fund that crowdsources its trading strategies from data scientists. Participants build models using encrypted market data and submit predictions, which Numerai combines to manage its fund.
Data scientists stake NMR on their predictions and earn more if their models perform well, or lose part of their stake if they perform poorly. Numerai was founded in 2015 and is backed by investors including Paul Tudor Jones.
