About Subsquid
SQD (SQD) is the token of SQD Network, formerly known as Subsquid, a decentralized data lake and query engine for blockchain data. Developers use it to index and query data from many blockchains when building apps and analytics tools, instead of relying on centralized API providers.
The network is made up of worker nodes that store and serve data. SQD is staked by node operators, delegated by holders to support operators, and locked by developers to get access to data queries. It is also used for governance.
