About Prometeus
Prom (PROM) is the token of Prom, a modular zkEVM layer-2 network built to connect different blockchains. It uses zero-knowledge proofs and can submit its transaction proofs to several chains, creating links between EVM and non-EVM ecosystems.
The project was previously known as Prometeus, a data marketplace, before shifting to blockchain infrastructure. PROM is used for gas fees, staking and governance on the network.
