About Bonk
Bonk (BONK) is a dog-themed meme coin on Solana, launched on Christmas Day 2022. At a time when the Solana ecosystem was hit hard by the FTX collapse, half of its huge 100 trillion token supply was airdropped to Solana users, developers, artists and NFT collectors, which helped revive community activity.
BONK has since been integrated into many Solana apps and has its own products, including the LetsBonk.fun meme coin launchpad, BonkSwap and the BonkBot trading bot, part of whose fees are used to burn BONK. Like other meme coins, its price depends heavily on sentiment.
