About Huma Finance
Huma Finance (HUMA) is a decentralized finance protocol focused on what it calls PayFi, meaning on-chain financing for real-world payments. It provides liquidity that payment companies can draw on to settle transactions around the clock using stablecoins, rather than waiting for traditional banking hours and pre-funded accounts.
Use cases include cross-border payments, card settlement and trade finance. Liquidity providers deposit stablecoins and earn returns from the fees these short-term financing arrangements generate. The protocol runs mainly on Solana. The HUMA token is used for governance and for incentives that reward participants in the network.
