About Anoma
Anoma (XAN) is the token of Anoma, a project building an intent-centric architecture for decentralized applications. Instead of writing exact transactions, users describe the outcome they want, and the network finds counterparties and settles the result, potentially across several blockchains.
Anoma is presented as a distributed operating system that lets developers write an application once and run it on multiple chains, with privacy features based on zero-knowledge cryptography. Its development has been led by Heliax, which also built the Namada privacy chain. XAN is used for governance and coordination of the Anoma protocol.
