About OpenGradient
OpenGradient (OPG) is the token of OpenGradient, a decentralized network for hosting, running and verifying AI models. Rather than acting as a general-purpose blockchain, it works as an AI coprocessor: applications, other blockchains and AI agents send computationally heavy model tasks to its network of GPU and trusted-execution nodes.
Validators check proofs for each computation, using hardware attestations or zero-knowledge machine-learning proofs, before results are recorded on-chain, so users can trust the output. OPG is used to pay for inference and to stake for and reward the nodes that run the network.
