About Wormhole Token
Wormhole (W) is the token of Wormhole, one of the most widely used cross-chain messaging protocols. It lets tokens and data move between dozens of blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and many layer-2 networks.
Wormhole is secured by a network of validators called Guardians. It suffered a major hack in 2022 that was covered by Jump Crypto. W launched in 2024 and is used for governance across the chains Wormhole connects.
