About Trace Token
OriginTrail (TRAC) is a project building a decentralized knowledge graph, a shared database of verifiable information that both people and AI systems can query. It started in 2018 with supply chain tracking, helping companies prove where products came from and how they moved.
The network now positions itself as trusted knowledge infrastructure for AI, aiming to reduce misinformation by tying data to its source. It works with partners such as the British Standards Institution and runs alongside NeuroWeb, a blockchain in the Polkadot ecosystem. TRAC is used to publish knowledge to the graph and is staked by node operators.
