About Peapods
Peapods Finance (PEAS) is a DeFi protocol that lets anyone build yield-generating products around any ERC-20 token. Its core feature is the Pod, a vault where users deposit a token and receive a wrapped version of it that trades on decentralized exchanges.
When the wrapped token's price drifts from the underlying asset, arbitrage traders step in, and the protocol charges fees on this activity. Those fees fund the yield paid to depositors, an approach the project calls volatility farming. Pods can also be paired with lending markets for borrowing and leverage. PEAS is the protocol's governance token and benefits from fees generated across Pods. Peapods runs on Ethereum and several layer-2 networks.
