What is Slippage?
The difference between the price you expected and the price your trade actually filled at.
Slippage happens because a large trade eats through the available orders or moves a pool's price. DEX apps let you set a slippage tolerance; the trade fails if the price moves further. Setting it very high on a thin pool invites sandwich attacks, where bots trade just before and after you at your expense.
