What is Wrapped token?
A token that represents another asset one-for-one on a different blockchain, such as Bitcoin on Ethereum.
A custodian or smart contract holds the original asset and issues the wrapped version. Its value depends on that backing being there. We leave wrapped tokens out of the Altcoin Season Index because they only track the asset they wrap.
