What is Decentralized exchange (DEX)?
A trading venue run by smart contracts, where you swap tokens straight from your own wallet without an account.
Uniswap, PancakeSwap and Raydium are examples. You keep custody of your funds until the moment of the swap, and anyone can create a market for any token.
That openness cuts both ways: new tokens appear on DEXes long before any centralized exchange lists them, and so do scams. Check liquidity, the age of the pool and the contract address before trading. Our DEX section adds risk labels for exactly these checks.
