About Pump
Pump.fun (PUMP) is the token of Pump.fun, a platform on Solana that lets anyone create and trade a new memecoin in minutes. Instead of needing developers or upfront liquidity, creators launch a token that starts trading on a bonding curve, where the price rises automatically as people buy.
Once a token reaches a set market value, it moves to a decentralized exchange where it trades like any other token. This simple process made Pump.fun one of the busiest apps in crypto and a big driver of Solana memecoin activity. The platform also runs its own exchange, PumpSwap, and a livestreaming feature for token creators.
PUMP was launched in 2025 through one of the biggest token sales of that year. Part of the platform's revenue has been used to buy back PUMP. Memecoins launched on Pump.fun are highly speculative and many lose most of their value, so caution is important.
