About Morpho Token
Morpho (MORPHO) is the governance token of Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. Morpho lets anyone lend and borrow crypto through simple, isolated lending markets, and it has become one of the largest lending platforms in DeFi.
Morpho has two main parts. Morpho Markets are individual lending pools, each with one collateral asset and one loan asset, so risks stay separate. Morpho Vaults gather deposits and spread them across markets, with specialist risk managers called curators choosing where funds go. Its core contracts can't be changed once deployed, which reduces governance risk. Large fintech apps and exchanges have used Morpho to offer crypto-backed loans and savings products.
MORPHO holders vote on protocol decisions, such as which interest rate models and risk settings are allowed and how the treasury is used. The protocol is available on Ethereum, Base and several other networks.
