About apyUSD
apyUSD (APYUSD) is the yield-bearing version of apxUSD from the Apyx protocol. Users deposit apxUSD into a vault and receive apyUSD, which grows in value over time as the protocol collects income.
That income comes from dividends paid on preferred shares issued by digital asset treasury companies, public firms that hold crypto on their balance sheets. apyUSD offers a way to earn equity-like income on-chain, but it depends on those companies continuing to pay dividends and on the value of their shares.
