Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) is a meme coin on Solana launched in October 2024 through the pump.fun platform. Its idea came from Truth Terminal, an AI chatbot whose posts about fart jokes inspired the community to create the coin.
Fartcoin became one of the most surprising success stories of the meme coin cycle, briefly reaching a market value of billions of dollars. It has no utility, and its rise is a good example of how AI and internet humor drove meme coin trading in 2024 and 2025. Its price is extremely volatile.
